2025 Summer League Results- Week 4

5/21/25- Grays 5 - Isotopes 2-

On a cold and gray Wednesday evening the Isotopes took the field against a depleted Dorian Gray's squad.

Dave Warner pitched the complete game but was greeted rudely to a lead off single by Tim Bombard. After getting Marin Goldstein to ground out, Jay Sadowski singled to left center to score Bombard. Warner then set down the side.

Sadowski took to the mound and got the first 2 batters out, and pitched around a walk to retire the side. After one inning the Gray's led 1-0.

The Isotopes tied it in the 2nd when Diego walked and then scored on a FC by Dave L.

Grays struck back with 3 runs in the 3rd Sadowski singled, swiped second and scored on a booming triple by John Malikowski. Fill in and former Gray's catcher Matt Boulanger knocked in Malikowski and scored on a clutch 2 out single by Mitch Gaslin.

Isotopes scored another run in the 4th as Warner walked and scored on a FC by Jay Z.

The Gray's added an insurance run in the 6th when Goldstein walked, Sadowski got his 4th hit of the game moving Goldstein to 3rd and scored on a FC by Malikowski.

Gray's stats: Bombard 2-4, Sadowski 4-4, Malikowski 1-4 triple, Boulanger 1-3, newcomer Dave Whitehead played a solid game at shortstop and contributed a single, Gaslin 1-2 single RBI. Sadowski CG 4 hits, 5 walks 2 runs.

5/22/25- Matchups between the Wonders @ Goats and the Plugs @ Phillies were both cancelled due to rain. Make-ups TBD.
