All games were canceled this week due to rain.
Canceled; A Baseball Poem
The empty fields echo with silent sighs,
As raindrops plummet from weeping skies.
No cheers resound, no victories claimed,
Just squishy socks and a canceled game.
No diving catches, no home run hits,
Just mushy grass, and soggy mitts.
The outfield's a pond, the infield's a mess,
A somber sight, this rain-caused stress.
But fear not fans, no need to fret,
Baseball's resilient; you can bet.
When the sun shines bright, and skies are clear,
We'll get back out there, with cheers and beer!
