With breathable air available as the Canadian wildfire haze lifted, the Fainting Goats and Plug Uglies were able to faceoff at School Street Park under moody skies. The Goats sent Pres. Pieraccini to the mound against Jeff Whitehead.

The Uglies scored early in the bottom of the first with Eric "Noodles" Bennett, who hit a rare 2 RBI double. Nolan Anaya followed with another RBI and the Plugs were up 4-0.

Things were quiet for both teams until the 5th when the Uglies were able to put three more runs on the board with a 2 RBI double from Jeff Whitehead and a RBI sacrifice form Jeff Cabana. In the 6th the Uglies added two more runs. 9-0 Uglies.

It was another gem from Jeff Whitehead, as he pitched a complete game shutout giving up 4 hits while striking out 5 with no walks. Plug Uglies 10, Fainting Goats 0.
